About The Project

Most youths today were born after the Cold War, but could spend their lives coping with the dangers of nuclear weapons.  With The Prague Project, we want our generation to know, understand and declare that nuclear weapons are a relic from the past, not a practical solution for the future.

The Prague Project is committed to advancing the steps needed to achieve a safer, more secure world.  A vital part of that process is engaging today’s youth on how to stop and roll back the spread of nuclear weapons.

Although the ultimate goal will not be reached quickly, our actions today can help us take concrete steps toward a better future for all of us.

In the short-term, the Prague Project hopes to:

  • Raise awareness about the threat nuclear weapons pose by serving as a clearinghouse of information about the nuclear security agenda.
  • Unite students and young adults interested in nuclear weapons policy and provide opportunities for communication, collaboration and action.
  • Empower our peers to push for changes in nuclear weapons policy.

Who We Are

The leadership of the Prague Project is comprised of a coalition of young adults (and the young-at-heart) working throughout the arms control and disarmament community.  The Prague Project itself is a way to connect these young adults together and aid in educating people outside the national security establishment.
